The Health and Welfare Council of Long Island (HWCLI) is a private, not for profit, health and human services planning, research/public education and advocacy organization that serves as the umbrella for public and non-profit agencies serving Long Island's poor and vulnerable individuals and families.
The Health Equity Alliance of Long Island (HEALI) is Long Island’s Social Care Network (SCN) of community-based organizations (CBOs) and healthcare providers building a person centric model that integrates healthcare, social care, and behavioral health care. HWCLI is the lead entity for the HEALI Social Care Network.
JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Invoice Administrator, Health Equity Alliance of Long Island
HWCLI seeks an experienced, energetic, passionate, and socially conscious individual to support the HWCLI and HEALI missions. This role is responsible for supporting the Finance and Program Departments. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Finance.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and verify the accuracy of internal invoices related to SCN activities, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
- Analyze invoices for discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies.
- Ensure timely processing and approval of invoices to meet deadlines.
- Support audits.
- Recommend improvements to internal invoicing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Supports departmental coordination, resource sharing, and development of external and internal materials at the direction of supervisor.
- Daily monitoring, triage, and delegation of HEALI partner support request tickets including external communications regarding TA, Training, and Performance items.
- Assists Finance division with data exports, data cleaning, and data consolidation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and materials as requested in accordance with HEALI writing and branding guidelines.
- Supports the development and implementation of HEALI Social Care Network programs and tools at the direction of supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned.
